Six Pack Abs With 15 minute Workouts

In order to get the six pack abs you’ve always wanted, here is a short six pack workout that should only take you 15 minutes. The first step includes a 5 minute warm up that contains either jogging on the spot, walking, or even skipping. When you feel your body temperature rise, a passive stretch for the muscles that feel the tightest on your body are strongly recommended.

The goals of the workout are:

Step One. Carry out exercise #1 – Leg Raise, for thirty seconds.

Step Two. Instantly after the Leg Raise execute Exercise #2 – The Plank for 30 seconds.

Step Three. After completing exercise 2, rest for thirty seconds before repeating these first three steps again.

Complete steps 1 to 3 ten times and it would equal a simple 15-minute workout.

Step 1: Leg Raise

In order to do the leg raises correctly you must first lie down on your back with both feet flat while your knees are bent. When in this position, you should have your pelvis on top of a rolled up towel or on your fingers. If you decide to use a towel it should be the same thickness of your hand. The position should be straight at the belly button level flat against the floor.

In this position both legs are being raised and lowered with your back stable against the floor while keeping pressure on your fingers or the towel. Throughout the thirty seconds of work your knees should remain bent and the angle of your knees should remain constant.

As you build abdominal muscle, the core of your body will become stronger when you open the angle of your knees which will increase the strain on the lower abdominal muscles.

Step 2: The Plank

The plank is best done lying face down on the floor with your feet together, your forearms on the ground, and your hands clenched into a fist. Bring the abs inward towards your spine and squeeze your buttocks muscles. Next your body should be lifted off the ground while maintaining a straight line from head to toe, resting on only your forearms and toes. Your forearms should remain parallel and your elbows should remain directly below your shoulders.

Good form is maintained when your back is flat and your chin is tucked throughout the entire 30 seconds while slowly returning to the ground for a 30 second rest.

In today’s world people try to find quick solutions for instant results. The people trying to use these solutions are wasting there time and money since there is no quick fix for the results that you want. Other people follow the latest fad diets while starving their body of the essential nutrients that they need, which will cause them to be unhealthy and unaware to the damage they are doing to their bodies.

Top Ab Exercise To Get The Six Pack You Want

If your like the many people who want six pack abs, you are steadily on the lookout for the best ab exercises that will help you reach your goal.

Though your diet will be a very important part of successfully getting the six pack abs that you want, doing the correct abdominal exercises is just as important. You may see impressive results in as little as thirty days if you adhere to the principles that follow when it comes to the best ab exercises for your workout.

The three principles below will assist you in picking the right ab exercises to include in your workout regimen.

First, reduce stability.

Reducing your stability is the initial way you can get impressive results from the abdominal workouts that you do.

When you reduce your stability, the abdominal muscles are being forced to work a lot harder because they have to stay continually contracted so that your body will maintain its stability. Often you will find that after you perform the most effective ab exercise that include instability, you will feel very sore at your body’s core.

This is because the muscles are working at a much higher level, so as a result this will help you get six pack abs much faster.

Be sure to involve twisting motion in your workouts.

The next principle is that a good six pack ab workout regimen should involve exercises that use twisting motions. The typical up and down crunches are not the most effective exercise when it comes to getting six pack abs since they do not work out the oblique muscles. If twisting motions are included in your ab exercises, more muscle fibers are being worked.

Take note that regardless of how strong the muscles in your abs become, the only way you will see them is if you have a low body fat content.

Always Recruit Other Muscles

Last, the third way that you can increase the effectiveness of your ab workout is to recruit additional muscles. For example, instead of only doing typical crunches, use a bosu ball and do some bodyweight squats.

This will work the whole body at one time so as a result you will get much better results and will not need to spend as much time working on other muscles.

Also, when you work additional muscles in your body, you will end up burning a lot of calories, so you will attain your goal of burning off as much body fat as you can much faster.

Therefore, you should be sure to keep these principles in mind as you do your ab workouts. As a final note, by changing you exercise routine and trying different techniques, this is a wonderful way to keep from reaching a weight loss plateau which will hinder your progress toward the six pack abs you want.

Six Pack Workout – What’s the Big Deal?

I’m sure you noticed by just looking around that the majority of people today have excess abdominal fat? People of all ages, including kids, are carrying around a spare tire.

Most people will just try to cover up their fat bellies because they don’t like how they look, but what they fail to understand is that not only is not attractive, but down right dangerous.

Scientific research has clearly shown that even though it’s unhealthy in general to have excess body fat, it’s also very dangerous to have excess abdominal fat.

There are two types of fat that you have in your abdominal area:

  1. Subcutaneous Fat – This type covers up your abs from being visible and lies directly beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal muscles.
  2. Visceral Fat – This much more dangerous type lies deeper in the abdomen beneath your muscle and surrounds your organs. Visceral fat also gives certain men that “beer belly” look where their stomach protrudes a lot but at the same time also feels sort of hard if you push on it.

Science has shown that having too much visceral fat is even more dangerous than subcutaneous fat. It greatly increases the risk of developing heart disease, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, different types of cancer, and other degenerative diseases. Part of the reason visceral fat is dangerous is that it seems to release more inflammatory molecules into your body on a consistent basis.

If you care about how you look and the quality of your life, reducing your belly fat should be one of your TOP priorities! Besides, a “side-effect” of finally getting rid of that excess ugly abdominal fat is that your stomach will flatten out, and you’ll be able to visibly see those sexy six pack abs that everyone wants.
